We are a traditional family oriented dojo that practices the art of Shotokan Karate.  Our dojo has been a successful part of the community for over 15 years and

we have trained many talented martial artists.  Our organization is The International Shotokai Federation which is headquartered in New York.  The founders of our organization are Master Toyotaro Miyazaki who came to the U.S. in the 1960's from Tokyo Japan to spread his art and Master Miyazaki's

senior student Shihan Kai Leung.   Sensei Leung is the chief instuctor of our headquarter dojo in New York, The Shotojuku.  The International Shotokai has branched out in many directions over the years with associated dojos throughout the U.S. and the world.

 

Our dojo has been continuing this tradition here in the Poconos.  We are the only authorized representative of the International Shotokai Federation in Northeast PA.  Our dojo is under the direction of Sensei Janet Troche Molerio who is a student of Shihan Kai Leung.  With the help of our senior students Edwin Nazario, & Ivelisse Fuentes we hope to keep our art growing strong.
