At Noh Shi Martial Arts we teach the martial arts in a safe, friendly, family oriented environment.

Our instructors are experienced and certified Yudansha (Black Belts) who strive to create a supportive

and challenging atmosphere that encourages the positive growth of each student.







 Dai-Sempai Dorothy Giovinazzo

Dorothy Giovinazzo began her martial arts training at Noh Shi in 2004.  As her training progressed she began to compete in various karate tournaments winning several medals for sparring, individual and team kata.  Dorothy has also become very active in helping to train others and teaches several classes at the dojo.  "Dot" is very instrumental in training the dojo competition team as well, and is one of our sparring coaches.







Edwin Nazario

Edwin Nazario joined our organization in 2003 and continued his training at Noh Shi. In July 2008, Mr. Nazario earned his Black Belt. He currently teaches our weekly late night adult class and works with our children's classes on week-ends.


















    


Bill Barcene

William Barcene began his martial arts training in Staten Island, New York.  When Mr. Barcene moved to Pennsylvania he became a member of the International Shotokai Federation, joining Noh Shi Dojo, where he is now a Senior student and first Black Belt graduate. This rank was awarded to him in July of 2006 by Master Toyotoro Miyazaki and Shihan Kai Leung at our Honbu Dojo in New York.
